Julie Renehan is ready serve District 3 on the DuPage County Board. She is a wife, a mother of three, an attorney, and an advocate. It’s time for Change in DuPage County leadership. Julie is a Democrat for DuPage-for all of us.
Julie began her law practice in DuPage County Courts and has experience in private practice and social services law. Julie has worked on Capitol Hill, volunteered with the local Hinsdale Village Caucus selection committee and has been a voting registrar, election judge and Precinct Committeeman in DuPage County.
She is also a longtime volunteer- from PTO to Girl Scouts to Jr. League and Jr. Womens’ Club. She currently serves as a Board member and volunteer with the Pro Bono Network, a volunteer organization that connects attorneys with legal services agencies to provide free legal aid to low income individuals and couldn’t be prouder of the work PBN does. She has also done pro bono legal work appealing veteran benefits.
Julie was born in St. Louis and moved around the U.S. as the child of a corporate executive for Chrysler. She attended Vanderbilt University, English & French major, where she met her husband Dan, then Washington University School of Law, St. Louis.
For the past 17 years, Julie has lived in Hinsdale, with her husband Dan, and children, Sarah, Will & Caroline.
